About: Geraldton COVID Vaccination Clinic

Please extend my warmest thank you to Amanda at the Geraldton Vaccination clinic.

My husband and I are traveling in WA from another state and called into the Geraldton clinic in the hopes of receiving our second jab. We had our first at an interstate GP. We had not pre-registered for an appointment and Amanda set up our accounts for us.

We had told her that we couldn’t get a vaccine certificate as for some reason our first dose didn’t appear on the register. Struggling with trying to fix this we had contacted the hotline, they were unable to help, we went in to a local Medicare office, they were unable to help, everyone told me to go to someone else. 

We could not get anyone to take ownership of our ‘missing’ records. That was until we spoke to Amanda. Sensing our ongoing frustrations I felt she went out of her way to assist us.  She contacted the GP clinic - on the other side of the country - and with our permission, spoke to the clinic we had attended. They confirmed our first dose and dates. Amanda rectified the missing dose and showed us how to obtain our digital certificate. We then told her our traveling companions had the same issues with their digital certificate. We called them to come in and Amanda helped them access their records. I believe Amanda even stayed more than 30 minutes past her usual finishing time to ensure everything was sorted to our satisfaction.

I cannot thank her enough for her amazing customer service and her caring manner. She never once made us feel rushed and smiled and laughed with us all. What an absolute treasure! Please also pass our thanks on to her husband who patiently waited outside in the car for her to finish!

It has been my pleasure to pass your compliment on to Amanda and she (and her husband!) were pleased to know that her efforts were noticed and appreciated by you both. It must have been frustrating trying to get your immunisation records correctly uploaded when you are unfamiliar with the system but I’m very pleased to hear that Amanda was able to assist you to rectify the issue and obtain your digital certificates.
