"Second visit to emergency"

About: Warren Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have used emergency twice in the last 6 months. Both times we received excellent and prompt attention and care.

On one occasion, I felt it was impossible not to notice other users of the ED should have, in my opinion, been using a GP service but I believe chose ED because they did not want to spend money on GP services.

I felt staff were careful and patient and respectful to the people they worked to help!

Dear plutohk88

Thank you for your feedback about the care provided at Warren Hospital Emergency Department (ED).

Hospital EDs are available at all times for any patient. Treatment is prioritised based on need and it is likely that someone with less acute problems will have to wait longer than another person with more urgent needs. At the lower end of the scale ED patients may have problems that could be treated in General Practice.

I hope that you have recovered from your problems and will ensure that the staff are made aware of your supportive comments.

Kind regards,

Rory
