Recently one morning, I blacked out. My husband took me to the Northampton Hospital where the two nurses cared for me diligently & also the doctor via telehealth. I was transported by very caring St John's Ambulance staff to Geraldton Regional Hospital ED. Nursing, Medical, Radiology, Pathology, Hotel Services from ED though general ward & HDU I found were all polite, professional, caring and knew exactly what they were doing.
I was transferred via RFDS (who also were polite, professional, caring & I felt knew what they were doing) to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Cardiology Ward where once again everyone I dealt with was just wonderful & also to the Cardiac Catheter Lab staff who inserted a pacemaker & the technologists, etc. I was taken to the discharge lounge and the staff were wonderful there also.
Having worked in the health profession for many years myself, I am proud to have been associated with the profession & thank everyone also including administration staff who it seems to me don't always get recognition as they are in the background. Thank you, I appreciate each and every one of you!
