"Triage service"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I was told I had a nystagmus by a physio (housemate).

I already had GP appointment booked for something else in the week to come. The next day I was concerned as the housemate had said I may have a brain cancer ie. Could be a cause of nystagmus. Thus I went to E.d. in Busselton to see if I should get it checked more urgently.

The nurse at the front desk had a calm manner. She spoke to me, looked at me and I recall said because I have a GP booked soon to go home and do some yoga.

I trusted her as I felt she had taken the time to assess me.

I have found the staff lovely at Busselton Hospital. Thank you.

Dear screenname01

Thankyou for your feedback in regards to your presentation to Busselton ED.

It must have been very frightening to think that you may have had brain cancer so I am very glad that the triage nurse was able to reassure you and provide you advice. I also hope that your fears were further allayed when you attended your GP appointment the following week.

I will ensure the ED team are aware of your feedback and I agree that the staff at Busselton Hospital are all lovely!

Kind Regards

That would be great if you can let them know. It was last year but I hadn't got around yet to giving feedback.

Thank you.

Thanks. I think because she addressed my concern and took the time to explain things it really helped me relax and not worry about it. I.e. I could trust her advice. Thus probably saved the time of other staff too. Cheers again, fantastic nurse in my opinion.
