"Partial dislocated shoulder"

About: Kalgoorlie Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Arrived at casualty dept with intense left shoulder and arm pain. The medical staff admitted me and treated me for possible heart attack symptoms. I can't thank them enough for their professional care throughout my ordeal. It turned out to be torn shoulder ligaments which I have almost recovered from. So thank you one and all for your professional care.

Dear bandicoot22,

Thank you for taking the time to share your story about your experience as a patient attending our Emergency Department (ED). I can only imagine the discomfort and distress you would have been feeling being admitted and treated for possible heart attack symptoms.

It makes us really proud at Kalgoorlie Hospital when the team receive feedback from their patients that they are entirely satisfied with their experience of care. I am glad to hear that you felt the ED team treated you in a caring and professional manner and were able to exclude a heart attack and provide you with a definitive diagnosis and treatment plan. These are the gold standards we are continually working to maintain here at Kalgoorlie Hospital.

Thank you again for your positive feedback, it goes a long way in reinforcing with our staff that they are appreciated by members of our community. I am glad to hear that you are on the mend and feeling much better.

Best regards
