"Keeping us in the loop"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / ICU Intensive Care Unit

(as a relative),

My sister-in-law spent time in FSH ICU with unexpected pregnancy complications and gave birth weeks early. A big shout out to the ICU team, midwives, obs team and medical team for keeping her and us in the loop regarding her condition. The special care nurses were great in reassuring both her and my sibling about bubs.

Dear eaterqh78,

Congratulations on the arrival of the newest member of your family!

I’m sorry to read that it sounds like it didn’t go exactly to plan, but it was great to hear how happy you were with the level of communication you received. We acknowledge that good communication is vital, particularly when people or their loved ones are unwell, and we do strive to provide excellent communication as part of the overall care we provide.

I hope your sister-in-law is now home with her baby and enjoying the newborn cuddles.

Kind regards,

Neil Doverty
