"Incontinence"

About: Community Nursing (Bass Coast Health)

(as the patient),

My story starts with getting older and having incontinence problems slowly getting worse and then getting an infected bladder and could not urinate at all. I finished up in hospital where I had a catheter inserted to relieve my situation.

Dianne and Ebony were called upon to handle my situation. With their care and training I now have a normal life of normal sleep and urine habits. They kept me up to date with consultations and supplies. I am extremely grateful for their beautiful care and assistance that has given me back quality of life.

Dear corvuspn54,

Thank you so much for posting this lovely feedback about our small but excellent Continence team. Incontinence is such a negative game changer for people and it is often hidden away because of embarrassment.

It is also something that people can get treatment for, often with a full recovery. I am so glad that you have been able to find a positive way forward and I know Diana and Ebony will be really chuffed with your feedback.

Thank you so much for taking the time and all the best for the future.

Kind Regards, Jan.
