"A public thank you"

About: Joondalup Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I had a series of ‘episodes’ which seemed like a stroke.

I panicked and as I arrived at the ED department, and the door slid open, the security guard told me to stand back due to COVID restrictions. I collapsed into him. All I remember is falling into his chest and he grabbed me by the shoulders, steered me to the Triage and then moved me into the ED Department immediately.

From then on for a few days, the care was absolutely wonderful. I cannot fault a single person in the whole organisation. The porters, nurses, doctors, student doctors, food lady, neurologists the opto neurologist, scanning technicians, MRI and CT were so fantastic that I still feel emotional thinking about it.

I have tried to find a way to thank them all publicly and on their website, but this is the only site I have found.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
