"Care of my elderly mother"

Mum has had several medical issues requiring hospitalisation at Maldon Hospital.

On every occasion she has received excellent care and treatment, having a local GP on call was a great help as he was familiar with mum's health history.

Mum also utilises Maldon's social support program 2-3 days a week and greatly appreciates the benefits it gives her, for both her physical, mental and social wellbeing.

As mum no longer drives, having a nearby diverse health facility where she can independently use her mobility scooter to access her GP, ancillary health services and social opportunities is essential to her continued quality of life. It allows her to maintain her independence while being able to access quality services.

As senior citizens ourselves, we greatly appreciate the respite and sense of security having this health service in our town of Maldon provides.
