"Bad back"

About: Collie Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I arrived at Collie Hospital after suffering a rib subluxation and being unable to get out of bed and stand (rib popped out and pushed against a nerve. Very painful).

I was immediately seen by the senior nurse. My pain level was assessed and I was given drugs to help with this. The nurses were very helpful. When I still could not stand after taking pain killers and an inflammatory shot, a nurse massaged anti-inflammatory gel into my back which helped. I was able to eventually get back on my feet.
