"My first surgical experience"

I would just like to start by saying just how wonderful all of the staff I dealt with at Bunbury Hospital were through my whole surgical procedure. From the security guard out the front who was so empathetic and kind, I believe not just to me, but to everyone he came across.

To how amazing the nursing staff were day and night, their level of care made me feel comfortable and gave me great ease of mind. I had two doctors as my first night’s stay my surgery got pushed out by an emergency (which was fine by me), the original doctor blew me away with the level she went through to make sure I understood exactly what the procedure I was about to have and that I was ok even after the emergency surgery before me. She came back after and apologised for the inconvenience and checked up on me as she was leaving her shift. The second doctor I had was likewise with his level of expertise and he genuinely took on any concerns I had and put them into a positive perspective gave me a great confidence in himself and the team around him.

The aftercare was equally amazing the only thing I could pick on was the enormous portion sizing for food, I found it was delicious but too much to finish. I would just like to thank the entire Bunbury Hospital and the amazing teams I believe you having working for you. I truly appreciate how nice and accommodating you have all been to me and lucky to be in the Bunbury area to receive such care. Thank you all.
