About: Allied Health (Bass Coast Health) Wonthaggi Hospital

(as the patient),

I received a call from Wonthaggi Hospital. Abby was very efficient and scheduled my appointment with a Cardiology Nurse and then a zoom link with the Cardiologist at another site. 

The appointment from Wonthaggi Hospital saved me an extra 40 minutes travel and less time off work. The treatment I received was well explained and I was comfortable the whole time. 

Thank you Bass Coast Health for what I believe is leading our community in the right direction.

Dear deploymentzt53,

Thank you for your feedback. One of our primary goals, aside from safety and quality, is to increase our service offerings to the local community to stop the need for people to travel for specialist appointments.

We have had significant funding support to engage top specialists (our cardiologists are from the Alfred), to work with us to provide care locally. They work with our local Cardiac nurses to deliver an excellent service.
