"Overnight stay"

About: Greenslopes Private Hospital

(as the patient),

Arrived at emergency, personal reason to do with infection in manhood. Saw doctor, all good I mean, informed up to ward, left there with nothing said about food, drinks, what I would be hooked up or what would happen. Nothing, I had to ask many times and still nothing until I demanded to be told. I’m not a robot. Medicines locked away, needed pills earlier than 8pm pill time- for reflux, restless legs. Told no, had to demand tablets after confrontation of sorts (a rule no good for me...got drips etc). Next morning’s doctor...nothing said about much. Tried to get the original doctor of the penis implant. He would be in contact or visit, nothing, so left. Leaving was 6 times to get my medicines out of my locked cupboard. No one interested in answer. No doctor called back to write a script for my chemist where I live.

So overall, to me a as a veteran, I would say a 6/10. All good on nursing staff etc. The 8pm tablet rule not the staff’s fault but I feel it’s a silly rule for some patients. I recall I was supposed to have script for antibiotics. No script, so that’s it. I left because I saw no future there as it stood. I believe others would argue different. Just wanted to know what’s going on with me. No one told me anything. I felt it was like I was not there.
