About: Kununurra Community Health Service

(as the patient),

I presented at Home Care in Kununurra Western Australia in the middle of last year with 3 Venous Ulcers on my left lower leg. The Nurse (Nicola) put a treatment plan in place and was absolutely fantastic. She was later joined by (Monica) and she was as great for my rehabilitation. As I am suffering from Cancer, this leaves me Immune Compromised. My healing process took 10 months and I felt these 2 fantastic ladies were brilliant. Coaxing, cajoling, nagging me to get off my butt and walking to help with blood flow.

In my opinion, WACHS should feel blessed to have Nurses like them in their midst. Recently, I was discharged from their care. To both of you, and all those who helped in the clinic a big Thank You. Also to my wife and children who pitched in over the journey, thank you.
