My partner presented with horrible abdominal pain. Had their regular medications delayed while in the department. Didn’t feel listened to by most of the staff. Was discharged still unable to eat or drink properly and more abdominal pain than when they arrived.

Thank you for sharing your experience on Care Opinion although I’m really sorry to hear that it wasn’t positive for your partner. I am concerned that you report your partner’s abdominal pain increased upon discharge and that they weren’t able to eat or drink properly and I would like to look into this further.

I would like the opportunity to review this further not only so that I can identify where we can make improvements, but I also want to make sure your partner is ok. I don’t want any of our patients to feel unheard, or leave our ED the way your partner did.
