The family would like to give a big thank you to all the amazing staff at the Northampton Hospital and Brookview who have done a great job looking after Doug. He was not always an easy man to look after and was sometimes very difficult. We believe Doug would not of got this extra special care if he had of been in any other aged care facility. A big thank you to all the staff involved, for all your love, care and support, not only to Dad, but also his wife and children.

Thank you for sharing your story on Care Opinion. I appreciate you taking the time to do so at this sad time for you and would like to offer my condolences to all Doug’s family and friends.

The staff at Northampton Hospital and Brookview are extremely dedicated and focused on providing the residents with a warm and welcoming environment they can call home. You are correct that there can be challenges in looking after some residents, I am proud to say the team consistently meet and exceed the challenges they are faced with.
