Recently, I had a procedure done at Busselton Health Campus that I didn't want to but I needed to. It was a very traumatic and emotional day for me but Nurse Ruth in Recovery made everything better. When I was upset, she brought me tissues. When I was hungry, she brought me food.
She didn't say much but, when she did, her words were exactly what I needed to hear. She was the perfect mix of compassionate and professional. If she is like this with everyone, she should definitely receive the recognition she deserves. What an amazing nurse she is.
Also worth mentioning, Nurses Jo, Sue and Beth, Anaesthetist Kate and Dr Heidi, you are all fabulous and helped make my terrible day not quite so bad.
