I am in my 80s and I am currently being treated for Multiple Myeloma.
When I tested positive I was referred to the Prince of Wales Covid Community Management. Over my isolation period they called daily to check my condition. They provided me (very quickly) with a fingertip oximeter. At all times my health was good with few symptoms. The only problem I experienced was in the contact phone calls. Most were from a phone directly (these were good) some seem to be 'computer generated' and I was unable to call back to the number provided. I would usually get a normal phone call later. I appreciate that my lack of technology most likely caused the problem however I am sure quite a few people in my age group would have trouble as well.
My care by this group and my specialist Dr Charles at Sutherland Oncology Clinic was more than I could have expected. Thanks to you all.
