"Hernia op"

About: Sale Hospital / Day Procedure Unit

(as the patient),

Recently, I was in for a hernia operation in the day procedure ward which due to covid had been put off. I wanted to thank the nursing staff in the surgical ward where I stayed overnight as well as the theatre staff, the whole thing went like clockwork. The care I received was perfect, not so constant that my slumber was interrupted, but enough that I knew everyone knew how I was going. Even the meal that night after surgery was quite enjoyable! My only criticism would be the insomniac in the bed next to me who kept their light and TV on all night, but it seemed to me their problems were many times worse than mine so I let that go. All in all, as pleasant as a stay in hospital can be.
