About: Lives Lived Well – Nowra (Nana Muru)

(as the patient),

Drinking to much I was a drinker for most of my life. Friday was my biggest night my wife told me if I didn't get off the alcohol she would divorce me, I was going to lose my family. Two months before I contacted Nana Muru I was drinking so much I was drinking to make the sickness would go away, turned into a vicious cycle. Since coming to Nana Muru for support I feel much better the support from Nurses was awesome and then attending the group has helped a lot. I feel like had no life and now I feel I am looking forward to living.

Thank you for letting us know how Nana Muru has helped you detox at home and how the groups have helped you. It is so encouraging to hear that the nurses and staff assisted you and your goal for abstinence has commenced.

Reaching out for help often comes when you are faced with a reality you are not comfortable with - and it seems like discussions of divorce were that catalyst for you. Good on you for calling Lives Lived Well and getting the help you required.

Keep up the good work - and know that Lives Lived Well (Nana Muru) will always be available to assist when you require additional support.
