Amazing nurse

(as the patient),

I had a corticosteroid injection in my knee in the radiology department. I was so nervous about this and it was so painful. Thankfully I had the most amazing nurse. Nurse a Dodo was so caring, compassionate and her bedside manner was so comforting. She explained the 1st injection was going to hurt, she could see I was scared so she held my hand and talked to me. She made me feel so much better. Nurse Dodo has the biggest heart, in my opinion, and I believe the Goldfields should feel so lucky to have her looking after us. Thank you so much Nurse Dodo for your kind care and being patient with me.

Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback. I agree I think Kalgoorlie Health Campus and our Goldfields community are very lucky to have someone as caring as Nurse Dodo in our service.

I have made sure she is aware of the kind words you have sent through. I am sure it will inspire her and her colleagues to keep providing patient centered compassionate care, even when times are challenging.
