(as the patient),

I gave birth to my baby girl via balloon induction, as a first time Mum I was a bundle of nerves and despite not being in the MGP I cannot recommend the beautiful and amazing midwives here at Bunbury enough.

If permitted, a special shout-out to midwives Maggie, Alison (Ali) and Claire who have provided me nothing but wholesome comfort, care and transparency throughout my journey. Like many births, ours didn’t go exactly to plan and without the support from these 3, plus a student midwife I brought along, I don’t know how I would have managed.

These women and among a few other midwives plus Registrars and theatre staff I met along the way are truly amazing and I can’t recommend BRH enough after my beautiful experience with my little girl.

Thankyou for taking the time to provide your feedback to Care opinion. I understand that as a first time Mum it can be a very anxious time as you navigate all the unknowns. I am so pleased that we were about to support you through your birth, especially that we were able to provide you with the comfort and care you required to deal with changing plans.

I will gladly pass on your kind words to Maggie, Ali and Claire. I am certain they will be humbled to receive your praise and pleased that they were able to support you through your labour and birth journey.

I hope you are settling into some sort of routine, if there is such a thing with a newborn. And I wish you, your daughter and the rest of your family all the best for the future.
