"Appendix removal and follow up colonoscopy"

About: Bunbury Hospital Collie Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I have been admitted to Bunbury Hospital twice in the last three months, on both occasions the care and kindness I received was outstanding. Although they were obviously busy everyone took the time to explain to me why and what was going to happen next. I was made comfortable and relaxed by every member of staff I had contact with. I wish to express my gratitude for the professional and kind treatment I experienced. 10/10

Dear leosk66,

Thank you for sharing your recent experience with Bunbury Hospital. I hope that you have recovered well after your surgery and are getting back to the things that you enjoy.

As you explain the hospital is a very busy place, however, I am glad to hear that you received kind, professional and compassionate care. We are working very hard with our staff groups to ensure that the patient and their family is at the centre of all that we do and I am heartened to hear that this was your experience. I will make sure that I share this with the teams that cared for you.

Kind regards,

Ceri Elliott
