(as the patient),

I recently had to undergo day surgery and was extremely nervous and had a lot of old memories of when I last had to go under anaesthetic as it was due to the loss of my child 17 years ago.

The staff were friendly, kind and considerate all the way through.

One lady in particular was extremely easy to talk to and nothing was an issue or problem, her name was Bec and she was the one in charge.

She has the most positive attitude and her actions throughout my short stay proved she knew exactly what she was doing.

I can imagine you would be extremely nervous to go under an anaesthetic given your history, which I was very sad to read about. Given those circumstances it was heartening to hear how all the staff were so considerate to your needs throughout your stay. Bec is such a compassionate nurse and her positive attitude is a credit to her.

It will be a pleasure to share your feedback with Bec and the team and acknowledge their great working in caring for you.
