"Hypnobirthing Australia™ Positive Birth Program with WACHS Telehealth"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Maternity Unit, Childbirth & Parenting Education Telehealth Service - WACHS South West

(as a service user),

My partner and I have recently completed the Hypnobirthing Australia™ Positive Birth Program with WACHS Telehealth and we could not be happier. We feel very lucky that we were able to access such a valuable and supportive resource through the hospital and it has equipped us with the knowledge in preparation for our first birth.

We hope this free program can continue to be offered to parents and other families in the future. We particularly liked the online resources and guidance for postpartum which I believe to be an area that needs the attention to improve mental health and wellbeing for all involved.

Thank you Downsouthbirthing89 for taking the time to share your recent experience with Hypnobirthing Australia ™Positive Birth Program via WACHS Telehealth. Research shows that if you can provide women and their support partners with an independent comprehensive antenatal program that you can improve both clinical and emotional outcomes, so we are also incredibly excited and proud to be able to bring you this series.

We are also pleased to hear that you particularly liked the guidance for the postpartum period. The 4th Trimester, Breastfeeding & Early Parenting Program is a new program developed by Bunbury midwife Tiffany Haddon to improve preparation and provide resources for a supportive and positive 4th Trimester. We agree, this is an area where we can all improve on.

Thank you again for sharing and best wishes for the birth of your baby.

Warmest Regards,

Kasey
