"Advanced practice physio team at FSH"

About: Fiona Stanley Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended ED at FSH with a limb injury. Whilst not life threatening, it was painful and limiting my mobility.

Once triaged I was approached by the Physio team, consented for inclusion into the ED musculoskeletal clinic trial.

We were sent through to X-ray and collected by Piers (physio) and taken for review.

The whole process was quick, patient focussed and very professional.

Piers took the time to explain the intention of the service, the benefits for the patients, the department and hospital.

He was a delight.

Inclusive, patient centred and a great initiative in my opinion.

Well done to the team and thank you.

Dear frostcb88,

Thank you very much for taking the time to express thanks for your experience in the Emergency Department and appreciation to the Physiotherapy Service. It is great to hear the care you received was above expectations, and that we provided a timely, professional and thorough clinical service.

I will pass your delightful feedback to Piers and the team.

Kind regards,

Kellie Blyth
