About: Lives Lived Well – Nowra (Nana Muru)

(as a service user),

I have attended the AOD Day Group in the past and I decided to go again as a refresher. The information I have gained from the toolbox helps me when I have the urge to use. Bel and Sylvia have been amazing group facilitators and have been really supportive in my journey to stop using drugs and have been accommodating by offering transport.

Since attending the group I have cut down on the drug use and made choices to not be around others who use drugs. I am going to try my hardest to use the information provided to implement harm minimisation in my life.

Sylvia and Bel are great assets to Lives Lived Well and it's great that they are being acknowledged so warmly. Thank you for taking the time to let us know how much the Day Group has assisted you reach your goals - so much so, that you would like to do it again.

Well done on recognising there are lots of strategies to be learnt, and removing yourself from friends who use is a very sensible one.

Enjoy the second round of the Day Program and always reach out if you need additional support.
