(as the patient),

I had a total hysterectomy, major abdominal surgery recently, I was in hospital for 5 days.

I was so happy and very pleased with all the medical staff that looked after me.

My surgeon/Professor Anthony and his team visited me every single day whilst I was in hospital, this in itself I felt was amazing and very comforting.

The nurses were always checking in on me, and were more than happy to assist me with anything I needed help with. They were quick to respond to the buzzer when pressed and very accommodating.

Even before my operation I had several nurses call me to inform me of what I needed to do to prepare for my operation. Ellen and Kath, pre admission nurses, were awesome and very helpful

I am so grateful that I was referred to The Royal Hospital for Women and the amazing Professor and his team. I was very well looked after and based on my experience, it’s definitely the best hospital on my list.

Thank you so much for taking the time especially after your recent major surgery to post your kind feedback regarding your experience with The Royal Hospital for Women.

Our Gynaeoncology Team are highly specialised and experienced and they are all very committed to providing the best care possible for their patients and families. It is very good to hear that you felt so well looked after by Professor Anthony (Proietto) and his team and that you found the care and assistance from the nursing staff very helpful during your stay.

Our Gynaeoncology Team are often involved with planning and providing care before and after their patients are in hospital, so it's particularly good to know that you found our Clinical Nurse Consultants Ellen and Kath helpful in preparing for your admission. Your positive feedback is really valuable as we are always looking to ensure we provide the best possible patient care and experience.

Your post will be shared with the team who I know will really appreciate your lovely feedback.
