(as a service user),

We visited PCH recently with a very sore, sad child. We found the care very good, thorough and caring. We did have to wait a while, but we weren't life threatening & it was very busy. But we were checked on often, & made comfortable.

My son is a Dr & I totally understand the stress these guys are under. But our Dr especially was lovely, she listened, assessed & made a plan.

Compassion, excellence and respect are core values at the Child and Adolescent Health Service and I’m pleased that the staff demonstrated these values by listening to your concerns, reassuring you with regular checks and keeping your child comfortable while you were waiting.

We understand how worrying it can be for parents while waiting to be seen when your child is unwell. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
