(as a parent/guardian),

Hi, my son and I attended GRH Emergency Dept last Tuesday afternoon as he damaged his hands falling off a roof in a workplace accident. The staff member that attended to him was incredible, she was so professional, efficient and thorough. We can’t thank her enough for her care and attention. Her name was Aletta and she told us that she was coming to the end of her 3 month placement here from interstate. Thank you so much Aletta, I feel you are a credit to the health profession wherever you work! You were beautiful with my son and I, and made our traumatic experience a whole lot more bearable.

I was delighted to read how Aletta managed to put yourself and your son at ease. A visit to the Emergency Department can be a nerve-racking experience, our team do fantastic work in treating everyone with compassion and respect to make sure anxious times are more bearable. Aletta has been a very welcome addition to the ED team and made a positive impact in her time here.

I hope your son’s hand is recovering and he is back at work soon.
