(as the patient),

I want to thank the staff involved in my care during and after the birth of my baby. A few months down the track and our family is thriving, which I feel is testament to the care my husband and I received in those early days. I experienced significant anxiety during pregnancy and after birth and felt extremely well supported by every staff member that was involved in my family’s care. I don’t think I will ever forget the compassion shown to me and the emphasis that was placed on my mental health, thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. It is lovely to hear that your family is thriving and that you attribute this to the care that you received from our maternity staff.

Your message is a good reminder of how important it is to have support and compassion around mental health when welcoming a new baby into the family. Whilst I may be biased, I do agree that our team are very caring and always wish to offer a high standard of care to the families that we meet. I look forward to sharing your post with our maternity team and know that they will appreciate this positive feedback.
