"Emergency care at the hospital"

About: Esperance Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Recently I went to see my cancer support nurse Ali. I was dizzy and felt very unwell and my blood tests showed I was severely anaemic. Ali rang the emergency department and spoke to Dr Annetta and I was admitted to the ED department & given 2 units of blood and an iron transfusion.

Dr Annetta and all the staff I encountered in the emergency department were amazing and gave me the best quality care I believe you could get anywhere and I am so very grateful, in my opinion we have a fantastic health service here in Esperance with staff going above and beyond to care for their patients.

Dear heronwe45

I really appreciated that you have taken the time to share your story with us when you have so much going on with your health journey.

I have shared your story with Dr Annette, Ali and our ED staff. We are very thankful to have such a wonderful team of staff in Esperance who continue to provide excellent clinical services but also whom provide caring and compassionate care. The team don’t look for recognition but I know this will put a smile on their faces and will make their day.
