"Waiting list system"

2 of my children were referred to the orthodontist at OHCWA. I was really patient, because I know there's a long wait. I came in recently to see how much longer, and I'm told one child was "purged" from the system and they have no record of my other child.

They say they sent a letter about the "purge" but I didn't get a letter, and I haven't moved house. I'm so angry. Now I have to get a new referral and filled out the forms again, and I assume go to the bottom of the waiting list.

This is so unfair - why was a phone call not made? How can they seemingly kick one kid off the waiting list and lose the other one in the system? 

I felt the person I spoke to was so nasty and unhelpful about it.

I can't believe my kids aren't going to get timely care. If I wait the same time as before, they'll be too old for the treatment to be effective. 

Furious. I think this is so dodgy.
