"Baxter pumps changed"

About: Broome Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

On arriving from a hospital in Perth I presented to ED with a set of Baxter pumps to be changed I also brought with me 2 X sets to be changed. After lengthy waites up to 2hrs in the ED waiting room to get my bottles changed having a rat test every day I was told in Perth I could access Silver Chain to change my bottles. After arriving in Broome ED I was told I could not access Silver Chain for 2 weeks after my release from the hospital in Perth, if at all. At the time of writing this, I had endured hours in ED waiting room every day and have 2 Weeks to go. I have a picc in my arm and am suseptable to infection. Waiting every day amongst sick people every day is paying a toll on my mental health, also I believe the risk of infection is very high.
