I have recently come off the Community Care Program monitoring patients with COVID. This is my second bout of COVID this year. I did not end up on this program the first time when I was diagnosed in the middle of the year. As a patient with Multiple Myeloma leading to immune deficiency issues I found this support amazing.
I found the monitoring from a distance was thorough and well structured. From phone contact and detailed conversations about my health to a very easy to use app and Oxy monitor usage, I thought this was a very thorough and well planned monitoring program. The staff I dealt with were friendly; systematic and helpful.
I learnt a lot about what I should be aware of and how to take care of myself and those around me whilst getting through COVID. The fact staff seemingly had so much Pre information on my health sped up the process and allowed us to just deal with my current situation. Appreciated that information would lo be forwarded to my GP also. I really couldn’t have asked more of this service and would like to commend all who have so carefully and thoughtfully put it together. I was more than impressed. Thank you all!
