"ED chaos"

I came in during the day as I was vomiting and had a fever. It took several hrs for someone to see me. Eventually I got called. Whilst in the waiting room I recall no one came to check on me the whole time.

When I got moved a dr reviewed me nd said I needed some bloods, they then left me. About an hr later someone came to take the blood. A few hrs later someone came to tell me another dr was coming to see me.

Once they got there I had to retell my story whilst feeling very unwell. I was to be admitted. I needed some medication for vomiting according to the ED dr, who the. Went on to tell me I had to wait for the other dr to come and prescribe it. I waited another few hrs whilst I continued to vomit. Why couldn’t the ED dr help me? I wonder what’s the point!
