"Quality of care"

About: Footscray Hospital

(as the patient),

I was taken in my ambulance in the early hours, medicated enroute to manage pain. Arrived at Footscray and then left in a cubicle crying out in pain for 3 hours with no relief until another patient seemingly threatened to assault me if I didn't stop crying out. I recall the nurse refused to get the nurse unit manager or the nurse in charge. Kept saying that there wasn't one available, which I feel is a bare faced lie, I believe there is always one on every shift.

Later on in the day an orderly took me down to CT without a nurse present and then left alone in the hallway, meanwhile another patient turns up and jumps the line, I believe because I've been seemingly abandoned in the hallway. When my nurse finally turns up I recall they also refuse to get their in charge nurse, and I was still making requests and awaiting an in charge 4 hours later.
