My adult child recently attended the Emergency Department for an exacerbation of their asthma. They were following their asthma plan, which stipulated when they had to seek medical help. Their observations were taken twice by a nurse and my child waited six hours to see a doctor. After 6 hours, the chest pain had resolved and they discharged herself. My child felt that there were just not enough doctors.
My child has been at two other hospitals for similar events. Never did they have such experience in those busy hospitals.
"6 hours wait for no medical assistance"
