Having used pats geraldton pre and post covid. A particular staff member, Emily, has made the entire process so easy and issue free with compassion and understanding. At times in the past I absolutely dreaded having to deal with pats - a service i needed and couldnt see my specialist without. It seemed everything, from a minor typo to wrong info given to me was always my fault. The staff didn't seem to want to be there or give info/instruction etc. Not anymore.
Emily gives information easily and pays attention to the detail. I'm no bother and in my case is happy to email instead of picking up a form in person. Simple stuff but this understanding was so lacking that Emily is a breath of fresh air. Pats used to feel worse than a visit to centrelink and now its more on par with the doc receptionist who's job it is to be the intermediary and assist in getting what you need while satisfying their procedures too.
Her manner and professionalism is fantastic. Instructions clear and happy for me to have a follow up question. I have dealt with her over the phone and email so I dont know her from a bar of soap. Yet the amount of stress she has reduced in dealing with logistics means I don't get ill from stress and compound my health issues just before an already stressful trip. I cannot overstate how important that is and why I am compelled to fill in this form.
