"Kind and professional treatment in Broome Theatre"

Please compliment the kind theatre staff on my behalf.

The Day Surgery Unit staff welcomed me and helped ease my anxiety, from the clerical staff (Kerry) to the  nurse (Monique), and the orderly (Keen), I felt all were professional.

I found the Anaesthetic team (Kelsey, Tom and Maree) were very kind and professional and put my mind at ease regarding the drip and the anaesthetic. I felt I was in good hands.

The theatre managers (Morika and Kerry) even ensured that all was ok.

The surgical team, (Roy & Ash & Jill) were caring and explained exactly what the procedure was.

I woke in recovery with Millie who ensured I was ok and then returned to the care of the Day Surgery team (including Carley and Bronte). Again Roy checked in on me and explained everything to me and my wife.

The Day Surgery Team even kindly arranged for a specific meal for me due to dietary restrictions.

I even had  the attention of the local phlebotomist (I think his name was Dave, he was very apologetic about getting some blood).

Overall the entire Broome Theatre Team were very kind and professional and caring. I think Broome patients needing surgery in Broome will be well looked after by this team.
