At 34.3 weeks my waters had broken, was told that I’d be staying 2 days for monitoring. Throughout the night woke up with contraction, I had notified my midwife and was practically ignored. Every time I got up ended up having fluid leaking, went to the toilet and noticed my pad had blood on it notified them again was told “oh it’s just discharge” meanwhile still contracting every 5 minutes for a minute.
Felt I was completely ignored, told I wasn’t in labour because I wasn’t showing that I was in pain so not in labour. I was seemingly completely ignored with how I felt and dismissed, was pretty much just locked in a room given antibiotics. I’m now at home still contracting and bleeding as I was not getting the care I needed.
