"Amazing care at Wonthaggi Hospital"

I just wanted to take the time to thank the paramedics, doctors and nurses at Wonthaggi hospital. I was rushed to Wonthaggi recently, and the two paramedics were so unbelievably supportive. 

Once I arrived at the hospital, I was taken straight to a bed. The emergency ward in the hospital is relatively new, and it was just so clean and lovely. 

The two nurses Puja and Tracey went above and beyond for me during my long stay. They made me feel so reassured, supportive and heard. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and informed of exactly what was going on. 

A massive thank you to Dr Matthew who as a junior doctor, took so much care in ensuring he knew all about me, and could support me in the best way possible. His communication with the head doctors was professional, and the support that the doctors showed to him was that of true role models. 

What I am most impressed by, is the culture amount at all the staff in the hospital. Everyone was so kind and supportive of each order. The definition of true teamwork! 

I cannot thank you all enough for making a negative experience such a positive one!

I can't thank you enough for taking the time to write such lovely feedback. I am sure that the staff members will feel really proud when they read your words. Out of the whole health service, the ED team has been the team that has endured the most duress, and the most change over the last few years. And yet they still come to work every day, to serve their community, to save lives, and to do whatever they can to make their patient's experience positive. I very much appreciate your feedback, I know they will too, and we hope that you are recovering well. Thank you again.
