"Exemplary care"

About: Kyneton Hospital / Perioperative Services

(as the patient),

I attended Kyneton hospital with my husband who was there to have several skin cancers removed. My husband is experiencing early stages of dementia and from the moment that we entered the hospital we felt welcome and all the staff involved to be gentle caring people. My husband wanted to give the nurses a gift, he said to me “I’ve never felt so cared for in my life in a hospital”. I’m a retired nurse myself and I would say their care was exemplary, not just the nurses but everyone from the receptionist and the fellow who was so helpful with our RAT tests. The whole place had an air of kindness and a caring attitude. Thank you.

Dear neptunebk65,

Thank you for your kind feedback in response to our Peri Operative team at Kyneton Hospital. The entire team take great pride in providing patient centered care to all who enter the front doors.

As a retired nurse you look out for the "small things" that put patients and carers at ease and I am very pleased you had this experience with your husband.

Your kind words have been shared with the team and I am sure you will continue to experience this level of satisfaction when receiving care at our organisaiton.

Kind Regards Susan Jennings

Executive Director Clinical Operations
