I am writing to complain about what I feel are your usual appalling services. I was the patient (sometime recently) arrived via QPS. I had suffered a punch which knocked me to the (concrete) floor, I had been strangulated after which I felt strangely drowsy. I was also traumatised. QPS, I believe, Brought me to be examined by a mental health clinician due to my wishes of dying due to my constant failures in life regarding stable accommodation. I was never seen by any mental health clinician. Maybe a social worker perhaps who I felt told me I could leave without hearing me out.
A friendly, elderly person lay in a bed nearby. Upon seeing me asked if I was ok (I feel that’s more than any of your staff did). I came over to talk and offered them my coins as I had too many bags on me and so much stuff. A nurse who I felt was very rude approached and told me off. They told me to leave the elderly person. I left, the elderly person having to converse with the nurse. During that intervention with the nurse in front of the elderly person, I asked the nurse if there was a donations box I could place these extra coins in, I felt they told me without really paying attention that there was one somewhere out there.
Later, as I tidied up my belongings realising I was missing some and so forth and trying to lighten the load, a dr passed with I think there was security guards and a patient. I asked the dr could I have some help, I recall to which they replied, “you Dont need help”. I had to throw lots of belongings away just to struggle to a taxi rank and luckily an awaiting taxi.
Absolutely disgusting in my opinion.
If you need fundraisers to enhance your service, I believe you’ll need the whole world on your side because I feel you’ve got a lot of improving to do.
