Having moved to Margaret River at 32 weeks pregnant, I was late to the MGP program but the care I received during that short time has changed my life in ways I will never forget.
Being left with emotional trauma from my first labour, I had deep fears and was convinced an unmediated birth was not in my future. The relationship and trust I developed with my midwives, Milena & Cat completely changed my mindset. They created a safe space and shifted my fears into feelings of power with gentle guidance and recommendations. I went on to have a beautiful unmediated labour, healing my past trauma and allowing me to regain faith in my ability and in myself.
I’m so honoured to have had Milena & Cat guide me in this journey. It truly is such an invaluable gift having a relationship with your midwives. Had I received continuity of care with my first pregnancy perhaps I would have avoided the trauma I experienced.
I will be forever grateful for Milena & Cat and the MGP program. I feel every woman in her journey to motherhood deserves the level of care given in this program.
