I went into Bunbury Hospital at in the early hours of the morning after 5 days of bad back, side and rib pain. I went straight in the room with the triage nurse and thought what great service! In straight away! I explained all my pain and when it started, and explained the fact that I’ve been taking 2x Panadol and 2x nurofen together for 5 days now, and now its not helping. Doesn’t do anything for the pain at all.
So what does the nurse do? “Well here’s some Panadol” “it’s probably just a strained muscle or a pulled rib” and I felt pretty much just pushed me back out the door. Didn’t take my name, d.o.b, anything. So I got back to car, had a cry and a good think about it. Went back in and asked to see a doctor or someone that actually cares. So I felt the nurse huffs and puffs and they finally took my details. And with a nice big smile on their face told me it’s going to be a really long wait, (there was not actually 1 other person in the waiting room).
I got told to go sit around the corner, not in the proper waiting room, So 3/4 hours go by and I still hadn’t been called in, just decided to go home, I assume I wasn’t even on the list to be called in.
I felt it was disgusting service.
