"Birth of my daughter"

I want to thank all the amazing midwives at the Busselton Health Campus for the outstanding supportive care they provided to myself, baby and husband during the antenatal, birth of my beautiful daughter and postpartum stages. They went above and beyond to ensure I felt supported and included every step of the way. During the antenatal stages I expressed my concerns around previous failed breastfeeding and was offered amazing support this time which included antenatal Telehealth support from Di and the hospital mids which made me feel set up to succeed this time.

During the birth both Barb and Marie were so attentive in listening and providing the birth I wanted and advocate for me where needed. In the days after birth all the midwives were so caring and nothing was ever too much to ask them and they all ensured my breastfeeding was supported. Unfortunately I came down with mastitis but every contact I had with the midwives ensure the care I needed was provided. First with oral antibiotics then with a return visit and stay for intravenous antibiotics where again I can not commend all the midwives on their beautiful care they provided, especially Sophie who brought all her KEMH knowledge and gentle nurturing care. I highly commend the Busselton Health Campus and Maternity ward on such amazing care they provide. A special thank you to the above mentioned midwives as well as Sandy, Sarah, Dr Peter, Dr Heather, Dr Ray, HC Tara and to any amazing person I forgot but cared for me thank you sooo much.
