"Emergency Department Attendance"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended ED with a severe chest pain and although likely musculoskeletal, the staff went above and beyond to rule out any sinister aetiology, I was given extremely thorough assessment and care. The staff were courteous, friendly and professional. I was treated efficiently, the staff listened and I was not rushed, even though the department was busy and the staff were dealing with many other patients.

Dear inspirejr67,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

It must have been concerning to present to ED with severe chest pain as the cause of the pain could be for a variety of reasons.

It sounds like you received the care required to help reassure you in a stressful situation.

We are proud of the team we have at the Busselton Health Campus and strive to always provide the care you described as having received.

I hope you are feeling better and want you to know I will pass your feedback onto the staff.

Kind regards,

Troy Stirzaker

Acting Clinical Nurse Manager - Busselton Health Campus Emergency Department
