"Excellent care at Broome Hospital"

About: Broome Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Holidaying from Melbourne, I attended the Broome Hospital at 35 weeks pregnant for decreased fetal movements. I was seen straight away by a highly skilled midwifery team who reassured me straight away that I’d done the right thing by coming in. They were kind, compassionate and I felt very safe in their hands.

I had an abnormal CTG and the expertise demonstrated by the midwives working collaboratively with the doctor I feel demonstrated a high degree of evidence informed decision making and safe practice. Many thanks for a positive experience and excellent outcome for my baby and myself.

Dear Elskin

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a Patient Opinion on the excellent care you received through the maternity unit at Broome Hospital. Visiting a hospital while on holidays is not usually on the tourist list. I am so glad that we were able to provide you with the assistance, assurance and involvement in the positive outcome of your baby and yourself.

Thanks again for your positive feedback and I hope you are enjoying your new family back in your home. Perhaps we’ll see you in Broome again sometime.

Kind regards

Sally Clark
