"Caring for my elderly mother"

I just wanted to call out the exceptional care shown by Nurse Sam, in the Aged Care ward 5 north. When I visited Mum, Sam took the time to give me an update on how she had been. Later that evening I went looking for Sam to assist my Mum and I saw her sitting with another patient, giving them her complete attention. When I did speak to her, she asked me if I was ok, and if I needed a hug, and if I had support or needed access to support. I felt her interactions with my Mum were caring and kind. Thank you for all the amazing work you do.
